Author: Carolyn Miller
Part of the Northwest Ice series
When Bailey Donovan's dance studio faces the risk of closure, she takes a God-given miracle of a gig training a complete non-dancer for a TV show.
Only problem is, he’s a real grump to her sunshine, and for an athlete, seems to be lacking all the moves. Or does he?
Luc Blanchard has sworn off wine, women, and definitely dancing as it sure doesn’t fit his macho image.
He loves hockey, God, and his family, with no time for more, until an unexpected promotion sees him forced to swallow his pride for the sake of his team. And then sparks fly...
Carolyn Miller’s strength is terrific characters. She does a wonderful job of creating down-to-earth characters who deal with real life issues, even when they are superstars in their fictional world. And I really love that because I am never going to face stardom but I will always face the worries of doing good to those around me in the midst of other problems. I flew through this story, wanting to know more and more about how the round of dances was going in the competition, how the studio was doing that she left for the time being, how it would be going back to daily doldrums after the excitement of the show, and more. The Northwest Ice series is fun and this book just continues the strength of the series.

Entertaining & witty! This story takes the reader into a deep dive of the world of professional dancing, the glories and the mishaps, along with tidbits into the world of hockey while interspersing wit, humor, uh oh’s and romance, keeping it interesting with sprinkles of surprise. The author clearly does her research, keeping it factual but also entertaining as she consistently points to a loving God, faithful through it all.
